There are three-storied buildings that were used for the sericulture industry. Even now, you can see these types of houses here and there. The townscape in Osugi area of Oya-cho has been particularly well preserved and is a designated cityscape formation. There are also cafes and a restaurants in the area where you can enjoy having lunch.
